Hi gents had my first ever customer Ive drilled through a pipe scenario job was done in just over a hour but had to rip 6 tiles off 🙁 Then pipe was so close to the wall so had to get my grinder on it then fit a straight coupling and a slip coupling. Now I am happy but it does make me feel bad having to rip it all up. And do you think £100 is ok?

Sounds perfectly reasonable to me.

Considering it wasnt your fault.

Must have taken at least 2-3 hours?

Thanks for that was quite chuffed with myself as it was my first Ive driled a hole through a pipe. And my misses thinks Im sad as I was planning on framing the section of pipe I cut out 😀

Personally I think the customer did a good job to they had drilled through it twice 😱

Only took me just over a hour to do, what a lot I have learnt in my first year 😉

All adds to the experience.

They wont all be that easy though 🙂
