Has anyone changed an auto air vent on an Isar system he24? .... how do you get to it ... Ideal technical couldn't help! .... it's tucked at the rear right of the boiler

if its like the isar combi fan off and you can get in with a small pair of footprints or grips - the last one I did was stiff all the way out .

My grips must be too big... couldn't get them in... I use Bahco's and yes it is the same as the combi. Thanks though.

Yeah, I tried to do the right thing and change one that had a small leak .... despite removing fan, just couldn't get onto it.... hence would be nice to know how others manage

If you can't get at it, take the fan out and remove the flue manifold will take you 5 mins just take new seals for the flue manifold.

Easy to do with just the fan out though!

As said above, take the fan out, get your grips on it, you'll only get at it a little, should eventually come out.

Or you can do it with a mini boa constrictor wrench.

to keep us on our toes - been asked to change sec heat exchanger on a Worcester high flow by my mate as hes busy not looked yet but it must be a pig of a job if hes passed it to me
