Hi,

I have a Worcester Greenstar 30iCombi boiler. I cannot find the fill loop attached to the boiler itself, however, I believe I have found the fill loop attached to the mains and a pump in a separate section of the house. I have attached a photo.

I am trying to repressurise my boiler. To do this, I have moved the black knob from 6 o'clock to 3 o'clock and slightly unscrewed the screw next to it. As I unscrew it, I can see water dripping from the screw. I then try to unscrew the second screw which is at the end of the silver loop but this just spins. I can neither loosen or tighten it. No water is reaching my boiler.

I just want to check that this is the loop and that the second screw is not somehow damaged because it just spins in place.

Many thanks, Justin

This should be your loop. Redo the screw on the same one as black handle. You have closed the black handle part, so punt this back to 6 o clock and should start to fill. Take pressure to approx 1.5 bar and close both the black handle on first valve, and close slotted part in 2nd valve (so scross the pipe as opposed to inline).

HI Aquarius, thanks for taking the time to reply to me. I left the black knob at 6 o'clock and just opened the screw next to it. No water was dripping and the boiler did not fill. Am I correct in understanding that 6 o'clock is open and 3 o'clock is closed? Sorry for the stupid question but I have tried all combinations and cannot fill the boiler. Given this, my assumption is that there is something wrong with the second screw but I am unsure to be honest

Hi Aquarius, I managed to get this working with your help, thank you. The missing piece was the fact that the pump had to be activated to push the water through to the boiler. Thanks for helping, much appreciated
