It's a tough life

I've got to go out at 12 to the pub as it's Boxing day and that's the law around here
A day on the beer in my local will consist off
A steady stream of Strongbow
Loosing money on the horses
A game of mixed pairs in darts (£150 to the winner)
A bit of a sing song (a few playing guitars while a few others wale/screech in the back ground)
A couple of rows no doubt
And hopefully no fights this year
After a house party last night which finished this morning, it really is quite tough

We're having a pyjama day in the AP house today. Watching DVDs, playing games, eating rubbish and generally chilling out. Just had a cold turkey and pigs in blankets baguette.
Much prefer Boxing Day to Xmas day.

No I was on my very best behaviour. Didn't lose it when her brother started eating my chocolate orange. I was polite and festive all day. Enjoyed watching chas and Dave last night after they'd gone.

Quiet day today. Fire lit, eating junk, just me and the missus at home, doing bog all.

Big day tomorrow, sports day, starts 12.00 in the workies. Pool, darts and dominoes round robin. Pool and darts in the workies then over to the cricket club for the darts and watch Leeds v Notts Forrest on the big screen.

My mum in law died 10 years back bless her, my lot are in Oz so no relative issues until my son got married 4 years back and his lot came for Xmas 3 years running, after the last one we banned them for ever with daughter in law's consent. A peaceful Xmas this year has resumed with offspring and daughter in law and grand kiddie. God knows what will happen when daughter pair off with someone.................. 🙂

Drunk 211 pints of Bow (that's what my body is telling me anyway)
Didn't have a winner on the horses
Got knocked out in the first round of the darts
Screeched at the guitar for a bit
Had a row with a lesbian, which nearly resulted in a fight (only grovelling from me stopped it)
All because of a simple misunderstanding, I tried to stop her going in to the womens toilet because I honestly thought she was a man (she was built like Croppie, only taller and wearing a beanie hat)
Hey Ho, roll on new years day to do it all again

Boxing days called boxing day for a reason and getting beat up by a lesbian still counts. If you had drank 211 pints name would need to be changed to jonnyswampthebed. Lol
