just looking for some advice guys looking to install a full heating system which will comprise of 14 rads upstairs & downstairs proprerty. not sure on whether it should be the worcester oil fired heatslave he 25 32 or he 18 25 its in the country by the way could some one give me a rough price on fitting this all parts will be supplied by customer thanks guys

Remember if people are supplying all parts that they wont always save money as the plumber may have to get additional bits missed and waste a lot of time. If working for people who supply my hourly rates rise to make up for the fact you lose a percentage on the goods supplied, a plumber who has a good discount from his suppliers, who then add their additional percentage can leave a total cost still well below what a customer can purchase at! If they are buying off the net, dont forget any problems in parts missing etc take time and therefore money to replace. Not being condersending but why not advice themto let an independant plumber quote for the whole job and then its his responsibility to get gear on site on time and installed. I no longer work for people supplying as it always seems to lead to problems of broken or missing parts that then become my fault and the additional costs are not welcomed by the customer. Just some food for thought.

nail on the head old plumber, its more like what i should have said. pressed on your profil by mistake, noticed lifeboat mechanic. i used to refit them (plumbing)

house is huge was thinking more along the lines of 2500 concrete floors in hall and kitchen

Without measuring house it sounds like a 18/25 will be too small but a 25/32 should be okay. Expensive mistake just taking this though.

House needs to be measured properly - although there are other ways, whole of house boiler method is regarded as the most accurate.
