hi there. im a full qualified plumber and also gas safe engineer . i live in scotland and fancy going to make some good money, im single and just fancy a change, anyone know any sites to look or agencies i could try?

Don't know of any agencies but remember you'll have to convert the qualifications in most countries mate.

Hi chug, I know it's been a while since you enquirer on here. I am interested to know how you got on with your working abroad as a plumber, I too am uk qualified nvq3 and am trying to figure out best route to working abroad as a plumber but am constantly hitting brick walls due to qualifications not being recognised , did you go abroad and work as a plumber , did you have to retrain or what, any advice you can offer from experience would be great thanks

Thats probably true. I have a sparky mate who has been out there for about 7 or 8 years now on really good money. He works for some american companies but he has been doing that for a long time now.
The down side is your bus to work is liable to get hit by an ied. His was just before christmas and 1 contractor died and 3 or 4 seriously injured.
But he tells me it is better than Kosovo where they would lob mortars over the camp perimeter at night :lol:

It become very poor, ant get around, expensive to live nobody wants to pay, 40% immigrants who in my experience do not comply with gas regulations, out of 100 calls NONE had gas certificates, all none Europeans, its a joke the capital and the poorest standards in Europe its a huge cash cow and scam.

Dont live in london but....
You can charge what you want Fonta. Whether anybody is prepared to pay it is another matter.
You can also charge top money anywhere in the country for emergency work. Its not just limited to london
