Johnson & Starley Reno 30C boiler LCD

Having problems with Johnson & Starley Reno 30C boiler.
The LCD is flashing 'E 5' or it could be 'E S' and there's no central heating or hot water. Can anyone help. A bit of a newbie to DIY stuff. If it's simple to fix tell me - if not, don't bother cos I won't understand and I'll call in a professional. Cheers!

E5 means that the fan is burnt out and needs replacing which must be done by a gas safe registered engineer.
