just about to start my nvq level

hi all. im about to start my nvq level 1 then hopefully find a local company to take me on to do my level 2/3
i am paying for the nvqs my self at newcastle college.
do you think i will find a plumber willing to let me work with him for little pay or no pay at all if need be.
or is this just wishfull thinking.

nvq level 1?? an nvq is where you are working onsite with a plumber, do you not mean plumbing level 1?

the only thing you can do is try and contact as many local plumbers as you can, letters, phone calls, e-mails, go to your local merchants and ask if you could put a notice up offering to help out for free.

its a tough climate so good luck and all the best.

what is your level 1 in? there are no level 1 plumbing quals?

i think he means the aset level 1 plumbing course fuzzy, which you are right this is a stepping stone to level 2.
