just for copper

Being an old school type, boss white/hemp soldering pipes etc........... does anyone have any comments on this "just for copper" glueing malarkey, is it a fad, does it work, is it the way ahead?🙄

Wouldn't touch it at the moment - if you can't solder joints, why use copper at all and not just push fit plastic?

With anything like that I would wait a few years and see how many problems there have been.
