just thought i would share my favorite plant room with you, spent all day here today looking for a leak on the cold water supply to the rest of building. it was using 2metres cubed a day, turns out the the infared sensors controlling the urinal solenoids had never been set up correctly -flushing every hour. 8 urinales x 6litre cistern 42 litres an hour. 42 x 24hrs equals 1008 litres a day, 365,000 litres of water a year.

im well on the way to saving the planet.

it should offset my carbon footprint for a few holidays

Excuse me I think that the maths might be a little bit out

6 x 8 = 48 x 24 = 1152 ltr or 1.152 mt cube x 365.25 = 420.768 mt cube a full year

yep, your right plouasne. my maths sucks. however, that just makes me more of a world saver than i thought....... time for another holiday 🙂
