Ainsdale Gas Heating & Plumbing Ainsdale Gas Heating & Plumbing I built it myself with a site builder that came with the standard 5 pound a month BT webhosting package. I very nearly signed for them to build me one for 500 quid but I'm so glad I've been able to take the time to make it exactly how I want.

I only finished it a few days ago and already had my first call from it last night from someone local who found us on google, made up! Hope this can inspire some ideas, any feedback or ideas appreciated. I've got a few minor tweaks to do and I plan on adding a gallery when I've built up enough pictures from work, cheers.

Edit: I don't know why the name on the link comes up twice lol, il figure it out.

Its good that mate, I'm working alone on mine, it looks a little less professional than yours. Good luck with it all.

Looking good for your first attempt. Here are my thoughts on it:

1. Be careful not to make it too busy, sometimes less is more.
2. Unsure why the font is a different size for the gas Safe reg section on main page? I personally would create a new page and put this info in there, Keeping your main page more simple.
3. The blue info email link is hard to read as it clashes with the red colour behind.
4. Unsure on the stripped template that sits just behind main screen on homepage? Looks like it over laps something? Poss just delete it to make look cleaner. (just noticed on the other pages the stripe is on all sides of page, so the main page needs moving to make it the same).
5. Reduce the size of the main page to get rid of that blue bar at the bottom as the page is longer than the layer under it.
6. Not sure on the picture, it looks a little too staged and it hides bits of your sign writing on the van. Maybe also make it smaller.
7. on the Gas safety page the margins are out on the bullet points, they should all be left aligned to look better.

That's all I can think of, plus if I type anymore you will probably start to hate me 😀

Hopefully you will take it as constructive feedback.

Good luck with it.

haha cheers no that's fine, the template is the only one which i thought was simple enough to work with! I could have a blank one, but think that looks better. I'll tidy it up a bit re the alignment, font etc. I'm happy with the picture, think with us being a small local familly picture it represents us ok, I plan on getting a newer van and profesionally designed logo's within the next 2 years so I'll probably just have that on the home page instead of the pic, see how I feel. Thanks again for the feedback.

nice one Mike informative but not too heavy great site🙂regards turnpin
Cheers, I think i'll add another page on how a more energy efficient system saves you money, advantages of sealed systems etc, nothing too deep though 🙂
