Apologies for asking in the gas forum (I'm an oil enineer) but you gas guys know your analysers.

I've just bought a second hand Kane 425 analyser as a backup for my anton sprint v2 and am trying to get my head around it.

Can anyone tell me if it's possible to get a real time display of excess air an the Kane? There is the option to have a customised display on the aux setting but I can't find excess air in the options. It will always print out excess air on the report but I like being able to see it in real time on the screen like I can on my anton (handy when setting up oil burners).

Thanks
Matt

THe excess air should be on the Aux setting shown as O2 and a percentage unless someone has changed it.
If it is not showing you can set it to show in menu/screen/aux.

Thanks Tamz.
I managed to find a manual online (the outer pages are missing from the one that came with my second hand Kane). It turns out that the Kane symbol for excess air is lambda - a weird upside down 'y'. I've now got aux set to CO, CO2, ratio and excess air - perfect.

Cheers
Matt
