Morning gents... just a quick bit of advice sort. when the boiler is on and has reached temperature there is a slight banging in pipework and noise of kettling near the boiler... I'm assuming that the pump over run has stopped working or something. it's not the mid pos valve as there is no problem with heating or hot water... I'm guessing its a pcb issue... any ideas??? Cheers Stuart:rolleyes2:

Which baxi boiler is it? is the over run controlled thro' the pcb or blr stat? Does the syetem have or require a by-pass, manual or auto, or is it just cavitation noises.

As above ........ need a bit more info on the appliance TBH ... Why PCB..???

If its a baxi solo and the pump is connected to the boiler via the optional pump overrun check there is 240v at this connection once the boiler is up to temp. If there is no voltage the pcb is at fault, this is a common baxi fault. Be aware there still needs to be a demand for heat when you check for voltage but the boiler must have shut down on boiler stat.
