I cant seem to keep a digital radio, thats three down the toilet this year. I must get that Makita DAB I've had my eye on.

I was T-cuting my van yesterday with my lastest £35 Roberts DAB radio on the drive amongst a mass of extension leads for the orbital polisher when I dragged over my new T-cut bottle by accident with a lead and didn't see it until it had all but spilt out all over the drive. I lost my temper and took it out on my radio and booted it as hard as I could across the drive. Its now in the bin in peices.

I have to say I was never happy with it, really finiky with tiny non responsive buttons, the previous two were £25 ASDA jobbies, one has a frayed DC adaptor and the 1st one also felt my boot.

Supper had one for sale 🙂, hope you only do new builds, I hate to see what happens if you lost it on a custards cream carpets 🙂

I have a couple of the Makitas on the van. The box one and also the combined radio torch. Surprising good sound from the latter.
