kinedo shower

hello, i am a recently qualified plumber and am fitting a kinedo shower (CA64/63). i am wondering if i can just drill a hole in the back panel for the cold feed. The instuctions are rubbish. If anyone has any experiance or knowledge of this product i would be very gratefull to hear from you.
