The kitchen tap head part is broken internally such that water leaks out the back. The connection to the rest of the tap is composed of 3 parts. The end of the tube 'in the middle' which is pulled tight to the black tap head thread 'bolt' by the silver 'nut'.
I'm aware these aren't the right names - please could someone tell me the correct terms?
Also is the thread size on the tap head likely to be standard ie. I can try and get a new generic head to match the 'nut/washer' as I don't know the model of the original?. If not how do I get 'nut/washer' off the tube and a new one on?
Internal diameter of the silver'nut/washer' part appears to be 2cm/0.75"...
Sorry for using what is no doubt the absolute wrong terminology for these things! 😕 Many thanks for any help/suggestions people have!
ps. I'm aware of the black washer in the backround which seals between the tube end and the head part - this seal is good, this is not from where it is leaking (which is internally from the head part - this is broken (I can see the snap)...
PLEASE SEE PIC BELOW
