knackered ideal/isar LF fault code,literally ffffuffailed

Have not worked on these bad boys or isars for a good while, bit of a heads up please...

flame failure code, usual checks ? Pressure at valve ? Check condense, leads, electrode an spark generator ???

oh by the way, took loads of isars recently...

anyone want any used boards let us know 🙂

Well considering the young girl has no heat or hot water apparently, am hoping I can try an fix it for her as I have nil chance of fitting a new boiler for a while, which is no good for her an secondly a waste of time for me

I know its a ISAR but might be a quick easy fix!
This post needs to be in the GSR forum so people can put in detail what to check, one item that can cause this would only need a clean

swap in one of those pcbs you have floating about

It's not pcb, first check electrodes, then the rectification harness. If when this is done u get the 3 lines of death it's the pump as well.

Popped out, she qualifys for new boiler on Eco so it's not getting fixed.

Going back to the Ideal, I had an icos Thursday where the condense was blocked under the sink where it teed in to the waste. That was causing it to lf. It was also leaking though and being noisy. But I've had this numerous times with new builds.

Thought this was the Gas safe forum?? It's usually the electrodes but also can be the condensate trap

There is a replacement harness and earth bond on rectification as it's been problematic !
