Hi im thinkin about getting my L.P.G Qualifications at a cost of £310, does anyone recomend it? Has anyone on gone and got it and glad they had? Does it generate much money and in which areas caravans, boats? whats the best route to go down with the L.P.G qualification. Cheers guys

I have turned down 2 jobs in the last couple of years because I don't have it so for us no. Depends what is near you - a couple of caravan parks and it may make sense. Also if you have a local calor/flogas depot might be worth dropping in for a chat?
 
not if you live in birmingham slightly better in caravan country or middle of exmoor:smug:
 
Thats what i mostly touch now. Hardly do natural gas. LPG is more challenging and i would say more dangerous...however its alot more interesting than natural gas! Only if you have the work coming in! Plus love doing caravans 🙂
 
The missus wants to "retire" onto a narrow boat so before I hang up the torch so I may well take this as i don't want those young whippersnappers running rings around me at the boatyard :cheesy:
 
I've had LPG PD for years but upgraded to Caravans, RPH and boats earlier this year and it's paid off big time for me. Don't forget you also need a few extra appliances depending on what you are looking to do. Closed flue fires is a minimum if you are working on static vans. There are also quite a few warm air units in static caravans.
