Hi, I have a Rayburn on a gravity open vented system which has been working great for 15 years, but the Rayburn is now on its last legs so I need to replace this.
I like the look of the La Nordica Termo Sovrana burners which come with a back boiler. From what I have read so far they do not run this on a gravity system, instead they run this on a pump system and with a sealed system they install there DSA device. They say gravity fed systems are old tech.
However there user manaul also states that if there is an electrical disconnection that you need to open all heat doors, and try to lower the heat combustion, which is hard on a solid fuel fire.
So my question is, has anyone got one of these fitted and if so have they got it working on a gravity system.
