I have an Alpha 280E combi boiler and it has sprung a leak between the DHW Flow Valve and Diverter Valve Assembly. This is connect by two screws which are tight. There does not seem to be any washers etc in the mechanism. Although it is only dripping once every 10 - 15 seconds the water is coloured and looks like it is from the central heating system. The pressure has also dropped.

Please can someone suggest what might have gone wrong.

Either the control assy is leaking and or the pressure actuator rear seal is leaking, replacement parts time Im afraid!!

Where are you?

Thanks for the answer Alpha man. I presume the parts you mention are part of the Diverter Valve Assembly. If not please can you tell me what they are part of (I cannot see this on the installation and servicing diagram) Also, please can you advise on the part numbers I need to order for the seals and if I cannot purchase the seals themselves the part number of the item that needs replacing. I am in Preston, Lancs

Sadly you are too far away from me to help you but, you either want a complete divertor valve and hw pressure actuator, or if your pretty handy, a divertor valve and hw actuator recon kits,

PT no's 6.1000760 and 6.1000765.

Thanks again, looking at the parts online I think I could do this without a problem.
