Matt Dalley

Hi,

Hopefully someone can give me some advice regarding my boiler.

I have a biasi riva compact 28 combi boiler (about 2 years old) which is constantly leaking from the external overflow.

The pressure is high at around 2.8 / 3.0. I have attempted to release the pressure via the valve but it returns to 2.8/3.0.

The filling loop/hose is not connected.

When the c.h or the d.h.w. are on, the leak increases from a constant drip to a full blown flood.

Could the issue be the three way diverter valve?

Cheers,

Matt

This plumbing forum will not provide advice to anybody with regards to boiler repairs or any other form of gas plumbing without you first providing us with your Gas Safe Registration number in a thread - for very obvious reasons. If you're not qualified to touch gas, you should stay well clear of trying to!

Welcome to the forum tho.

I'm not a plumber and I don't intend to touch any gas related items.

I would like to have an idea of the issue before I get a plumber in to sort the situation. I'm sure you understand that most plumbers seem to be charging extortionate amounts of money to fix boilers at the moment.

Knowledge is power as they say!
It seems my post missed the following statement: 'Before I get in a plumber I'd like to have an idea of the problem.'

Cheers,

Matt
