leaking boiler

hi, a friend has got a leak on his boiler. ive taken a look at it and its leaking from the cast heat exchanger, i think thats what its called. Its a potterton F 40F. can you get a replacement heat exchanger for this model, and is it worth it as its quite old and it has leaked on to all the electical parts, looks like its been leaking for some time. thanks
