Hi, im in the middle of replacing a bathroom sink- I've noticed the seal in the strap-on tee piece in the vertical soil stack is leaking where the 32mm dia pipe is pushed in. Im thinking i will probably have to blank this off (how -any ideas??) , and put in a new tee piece, probably immediately above the existing one. Access is only from side only.

In the photo I've put in a 32mm push-in plug and covered the connector in a plastic bag secured with an elastic band. Obviously this is not a long term solution.

If you can ID the manufacturer mate there's every chance you can get a new seal for it & reuse the existing strap-on boss.

Thanks for replying so quick. I've had a good look and can't see any manufacturer names or anything. I've found a picture on google images but doesn't even say on there. It might be Still be worth trying to replace it with 'a' seal. Do I rip out the old one and glue the new one in? In fact , if I get the old one out in tact , may be I could try several types? What do think?

Yes, you should be able to pull it out carefully and put new one back in, don't need gluing, use some silicone grease 🙂
