Been asked to do one of these. Is there a preset form to fill in

dont believe there is, I understand anyone can check a domestic property if competent, but what is competent, there doesnt seem to be much out there apart from letting agents saying it needs doing with no real basis to do so.

Aren`t there any litmus type paper test strips for this?

Managed to get a glimpse of the guys sheet that was doing one while I Was fixing boiler. It just had tick box's like is cylinder stat set above 50 / what is hot water temp / is storage tank insulated. That's all I could see

main thing is to see that cylinder is heated to 60 plus every 24 hours, shower heads kept clean, cold water below 20 degrees (fm memory) so a normal mains supply and a combi boiler pass the basic requirements everytime.

I do them at work , I scribble my name on the bottom of the paper and date it, its just to say that I run the water before the property is re let, im suppose to run each outlet thru a flushing sleeve or something to stop spray becoming airborne........I mean I run each outlet thru a flushing sleeve to make sure spray doesn't become airborne!! what a load of crap!! they are only empty for a week or so!!
