Hello there, my own plumber has directed me here to find a plumber to quote me a job outside his own area.

I don't yet know if the work will go ahead - basically I have to get a price before the man in charge will continue the conversation over whether or not we can do it.

I would like to install a shower at work, the easiest place to fit it is probably in a disused toilet in the basement. There is cold water already serving the toilet and a basin, hot water in a toilet block directly above. It's a reasonable distance from the main electricity box (although normal shower is preferred on the basis that electric ones are usually a poor excuse for a shower). I'd like to have the toilet and basin removed and replaced with a shower.

There is a much better location, but I'm assuming it would be prohibitively expensive because it's a reasonable distance from any other plumbing (I think about 10m horizontally, plus 3m vertically from a pipe, drainage I've no idea) - I'm happy to be quoted for that too if someone thinks it might not be as expensive as I think.

Really is just a quote at this stage - it's not me who makes the decision, but I've been asked to come back with a price before discussions will go any further.

If anyone can give me an idea of expected cost, or even better come out and do me a quote that would wonderful. We're located on Parker Drive and it's not particularly urgent.

Thanks,

Jacqui
