logic combi 30 replacing bath tap

Hi,

I need to replace a bath tap but the taps don't have any shut-off valves, I can do the cold water but not certain how to do the hot.

My boiler is a logic combi 30 pressurised system, how do I stop the water from flowing while I replace and will I need to fill the system again.

If you turn off the main stopcock, it will do all hot and cold. Run both taps to be certain that it’s closed off properly.

thanks for the advice, when I need to turn on again and open the main stopcock do I need to do anything on the boiler.

Not really if you turn the stopcock on slightly and let the pipework fill up slowly rather than filling up at full flow this will check your work and if there any unforeseen leakage then its more controllable, once you are happy turn on the stopcock fully run the hot and cold taps and be prepared for a bit of spluttering but it will settle after a short time .
