Looking for help with Ferroli Gn1

Hi all,
Serviced a ferroli gn1 boiler today. Checked to make sure burner started up ok, removed burner, cleaned out chamber, reassembled, took cover off oil pump and cleaned out filter. Took off filter on oil line and cleaned out. Fitted new nozzle and fired burner up which didn't sound right and started smoking straight away. Pressure set to 10 bar so tried adjusting air but no matter what setting kept smoking. Tried adjusting pressure to see if it made any difference but none. I searched for settings for burner but I'm not too sure what model burner it is as there's no markings on it. Would anyone have any info on these as I can't find anything on the burner. The only thing I can think on is the distance of the nozzle from the front of the blast tube as this is adjustable. I think that the burner might be oversized for the boiler. Any help greatly appreciated, cheers

check nozzle is on tight enough and not leaking

Thanks lame plumber, checked that first but seems fine. I'm trying to find the recommended settings and start from there

go check ferrolli website for discontinued boiler manuals

Dont need settings. If air and oil adjustments dont work the its either a loose nozzle as lp said or you have disturbed something behind the nozzle thats letting too much oil through.

I've looked there but all I can get is the manual for the boiler but I can't find anything about the burners. I've never worked on a ferroli burner, nearly all riello. There's nothing on burner about model or type so I'm just not familiar about settings for the burner and the only info I can find online is about the boiler part. Thanks

so 11% co2 and smoke of 0 is a start

I had to remove the electrodes to get the nozzle off but back in the same place, I think! I'm going to try moving the electrodes in case they're too far back. Was trying to find the distance it should be. The filter in the pump was very dirty and tried to clean it. Also tried running it without filter in too see if it made any difference but no joy

I'm not putting my analyser anywhere near it! I couldn't get it to a point where I couldn't actually see any smoke coming out. It's a Friday evening type of problem, wouldn't happen on a Monday morning. Few beers this evening and am sure will be able to figure it out when I go back tomorrow !!
