I'm looking for miniature side entry plastic Torbeck valves for replacements for animal drinkers. I can only find the Fordham ones around here now.
 
think a customer of mine whilst fitting a new toilet for them nipped out to fetch one as his was faulty and he got it from wickes.
 
Between the screw attachment tail and the float, there is only about 4 inches. I will try and post a picture.

I find they are more reliable than the Fordham valves.

thats right, blue with plaggy bag filler pipe, about 3x2 inch 2'' deep. £8 each.
