Hello

I have seen some taps/ shower head i like for my bath. on the website it says

" suitable for all baths with low pressure water systems"
" Liquid Pressure 0.5 bar"

I live in a new build with a combi boiler which shows just under 2 bar.

Can i use theese taps? does it really matter if i use low or high pressure taps?

Thanks

yes.

you can use those taps on a high pressure system. (which means mains pressure and has nothing to do with the pressure guage on the boiler as that is for your heating circuit.

you cant do it the other way round though taps only suitable for high pressure will not deliver any kind of satisfactory flow rate on a low pressure system
