I do not believe in loyalty schemes; believe in being my own person
I fit quite a few Remeha's, they have a points system, do not join, they keep saying join, join but have no interest, just want a good boiler and good after sales service if required, if the boiler or whatever is no good, bye, bye not going to con my customers for a few points, could be classed as back hander, something do not want to get into, quite common in Europe, plumbers linking up with manufacturers, over there it allows manufacturers to get premium prices for their gear for a few trips here and there for the installers.
And this giving extra warrantee if you use one of theirapproved installers is restrictive practices if ever there was and should be banned, in fact if tested in a court of law, think would not stand up at all
Another reason is ,I ran out of petrol and had to push my van about a mile once because of a BP loyalty points card I had ,it was years ago ,when they first came out could have filled up at two other petrol stations but thought ,no I can make it ,to the BP station and get my points as well.. couldn’t ,no amount of points was worth me pushing that van all that way at about 11.00pm on a dark wet winters night
