Hi ive been trying to repair a main combi24he boiler. It started with a flame failiure fault. when dhw or heating was called for the primary flow swithc would activate, fan would come on etc, proved fault to air pressure switch. changed air pressure switch, the boiler now fires up and burner comes on but cuts off after 10 secs. there is no fault light on the display and the burner light does not light up when the burner comes on. I changed the flame sensing electrode as a precaution. still no joy. I had a spare pcb in the van so i swapped it to test. Fault still exists, im thinking maybe the temperature sensor? does anyone have any other ideas? Thanks

Couple of other prooving switches worth checking IMHO ... the one that checks flow is worth a gander 🙂

JIMBOSWED.... Did you manage to repair this fault?

I've had the same issue today.
Boiler wasn't firing when I arrived, replaced the APS which got it to fire.
Tested heating and hot, and both was cutting off after 10-15 seconds.

I agree it is!
But don't like to think the boiler got the better of me :censored: !!

Give baxi a call 🙂

Or check out the electrics that detects condensate removal issues ... 🙂

Could be a few things to be honest ... anything to do with flame/flame detection fumes removal etc...etc... Not stuff to share on an open forum though, I'm sure you'll appreciate?
