Hi everyone! I'm doing up my bathroom and we've had a leaky roof fixed, so I removed all the soaked water pipe covers to reveal the green pipe underneath. I dried it out but noticed that cold water has surfaced very quickly. The pipe is very cold. Is this normal? How do I check if the pipe is leaking? What should I cover the pipe with now? Thanks!!

As Bill said.

Not sure if that's 15 or 22mm. Just go to your plumbers merchant and get some lagging. Try and get some with 19mm thick walls. EG 15x19 or 22x19.

Hello! Mains pipe will "sweat" a bit and more often in certain weather while the chilly mains water is passing through the pipe. A bit like bringing a cold tin of beer out of the fridge and suddenly it gets soaking.
You could insulate the pipe with the cheaper foam pipe insulation that has a split down it.
Those joints look a bit dodgy, so keep an eye on them or get it all nice & professionally done
