Ordered a new 18v makita combo drill off amazon last night ,this is the out going model with the 3 amp battery not the new 4 amp,but at 179.99 comes with 2 batterys and charger,this is the top of the range makita combo drill that was over 300 quid a few months ago it has got over 80 nw torque.Anybody in the market for a decent drill this is the one
 
I think I paid that a year ago for mine with only one battery...I sold the case and charger on ebay.

Its a beast of a drill...nice to see the 3.0's coming down in price. I'm biding my time before I pick up another 2.
 
Although I prefer Makita there's a tool shop near me doing 18v DeWalt refurbs including charger and 2 batteries for £70 complete with 12 month guarantee/warrantee.

the new model with the 4 amp battery is well over 300 quid,might as well buy the old model and a few spare batterys
 
Iv noticed the batteries have come down a bit too. I picked up 2x 3.0ah ones for £120 at my tool shop which I was chuffed with
