Anybody flown with the above. Looking at using them to go to Australia back end of February.

Cheers.

I'd rather have three seperate weeks in Tenerife throughout the year, then blow it all in one three week burst at the start of the year.

I've looked at a few options on the flight front, Emirates as I can go from Newcastle but it's 800 more than Malaysian from Heathrow. The 800 will cover car parking and car hire whilst over there and still have change for an overnight stay in london before we fly. Looked at cheapest option which is South China Airlines but get a poor write up. When you're going to be in the same seat for that long I fancy being looked after at least half decently.

Emirates have all the money ,newest planes etc etc however unless your arabic then thats what you get an arabic experience. food was utterly horrific , service sub standard , dumped in dubai for to long . Complete aggro at check ins which have flown to oz twice with them and happened both times . So unless you are of arab origin then it will be fine but i cant find anyone who liked them , oh and i had a holiday in israel once which proved to be rather problematic .
I have done long haul with , brit airways, gulf air, emirates ,thai air and eva air and eva have knocked the socks off all of them in my experience.

First time we flew with Quantas but they are crap, second time was JAL but they went bust, shame as they were pretty good. I'll have a look at EVA, cheers.

I have been to Aus and New Zealand a couple of times, whichever airline you go to its one hell of a journey! if you can get a stopover for a couple of days, preferably both ways but definetly on the way back. The flight is a killer!

Favourite stopover for me was Hong Kong, also been on stop over to Singapore which was boring, Bangkok that was OK, Las Vegas hated it.

I've always gone for the cheaper flights, not used Malaysian but used Quatas, British Airways, Quatar,

What I've found is the not so known airlines have older planes but also more leg room and bigger seats.
