Hi All, I am looking to change my career - currently an office professional but have always wanted to learn a trade and work in that industry and plumbing is something I would really love to do. Just really looking for any help/advice anyone can give me in making this a reality and please do not pull any punches - I have a huge appetite for learning but need to know if I have a real chance or do employers just not take on mature Apprentices? Should I take a stand alone NVQ level 2 course first before I try to get an apprenticeship? Any help would be most appreciated !!!!!
