Hi, i bought the big bosch 36v last week and i hate it so im going to sell it next week and get the milwaukee.
My question is, does the kit on ebay that TB and a couple of others bought come with a hard case for the sds drill. In the picture it shows a hard case and a carry bag, which one is for the combi drill and which one is for the sds?

Thanks in advance 🙂

If any one is wondering why i hated the bosch iys becuase its so unbalanced making one handed use just to drill a quick 7mm hole for a brown plug a bit awkward. Plus the hammer seemed a bit week to me. It does have plenty of torque though compared to my old 24v makita but the hammer is deffinately worse.

No, you do get a hard case but stupidly it doesn't take the drill and batteries, only the drill. Weird.

The bag is okay though.

Thanks for the quick reply TB.

Although having used the bosch a fair bit today chucking 22mm masonry bits through a few walls its growing on me and i dont think i can exchange it now its been dragged across a few concrete floors 🙂

I guess i will just live with how unbalanced it is...shame.

Im not sure if unbalanced is the best of analogies, basically what i mean is when you pick it up you always seem to be fighting to be fighting with it to hold the drill level unlike any other sds im ever seen and used which is most of em.

On the plus, Great battery life, I only used the one battery all day today. Plus the case is very good which is a must for me.

If you want the milwaukee mate you best be quick i just got 1 of the last ones and the charger doesnt work and 1 battery was 2nd hand but he is exchanging them no problem. i think the bauery was either a refurb or someone along the line swapped it as it was the only box that the tape was cut. Everything else is new thoui and you can buy spare boxes.

Hi Mike, its a GBH36VFLI like this....

3165140472784 GBH36VFLi 36v Rotary Hammer 2 x 2.6ah Quick Change Chuck

I think it's down to the fact the motor is mounted length ways as opposed to having it downwards like the others i.e dewalt, hilti, milwaukee etc.

Plus the smallish grip is a bit further down.

Hey ho, as i said its grown on me today after hanging a house full of rads.

I've got the same model without the interchangeable chuck and never had an issue with it. I generally leave the side handle off and use it one handed though.

I will start the bidding at £50 :bucktooth:

I have the same one and love it had it nearly 4 years now and only 3 sets of brushes and use it everyday without fail
