Hi guys

I've got a milwaukee 12v screw driver and love it was thinking about getting the impact driver

Is there any guys that use a impact driver or is it not much use in our game of boilers ect?

I have this screwdriver and I have a dewalt impactor I only use the impactor when stud walling for bathrooms or using self tapping window screws other than that for me the 12v er is perfect

What dewalt one you got bud?

Was thinking of useing it to screw boiler jigs and clips ect into wall plugs

a old NiCad 18v I have a dewalt 18v screw fix £100 special so got the impacter for about 55 60 bare on ebay had it years its great for heavy fixings but it spends a lot of time in the van I could actually do with replacing the battery's but as I don't use it that often I manage

Use impacts all day long, any sort of screw, flues, boiler jigs, old rusted bolts..... Amazing bit o kit

Haha three different milwaukee 12v impacts.
old brushed version (i have)
new brushed version

brushless "fuel" impact which is the best of the three 🙂

although i just use my 18v fuel impact for pretty much everything!

have a 18v dewalt impact its the dogs nuts,it will drive a 4 inch screw strait through 3x2

It's got speed control. I use it on boiler case screws - use it on the 5000 screws in raven cheap.

Hammer or axe is tool of choice for raven-heap

I have 18v makita impact driver, use it all the time for clipping, rads, flues, baoiler brackets and woodwork, wouldn't use it on boiler screws, keep a 10.8v dewalt (DeWalt DCF610S2 10.8V 3Ah Li-Ion Cordless T-Handle Screwdriver | Cordless Screwdrivers | NoLinkingToThis) for this, the torqe limiter makes it ideal imho

So can I use one for screwing a screw into a red wall plug when putting a boiler jig or a clip on a brick wall?
