No guys , The mira flights are sand and cement 5-1 . Not recommended to use tile adhesive on these.
dont see why as anything better than what they recommend silicone 😀 and tbh hadn't had one call back due to shower tray moving, and no point in using sand and cement on wooden floors
I agree shaun , i always use flexible tile adhesive on 90% of trays, but I rang mira over this and they said sand and cement or silicone but silicone obviously wont work over the area of a large tray, to take up any low points in the floor.
Lol no, the last 3 trays I have done have been flights, they have hard plastic bottoms (lol) so with the right type of silicone they would stick to a ply base like s*** to a blanket.
As for the sand and cement 5
When I need to raise a try its just 3x2 and 18mm ply no working out measurements, and flat fascia board screwed to the front
I find it easier and stronger than the legs kits
