What make model of combi is it,is it modulating correctly
Is valve thermostatic as said
Have you checked the hot and cold correct way round?

imho

If it is a bar mixer shower and you cant get at the pipes can't you take it off turn it through 180 degrees and see if that works, if that works then its the pipes

yea i can still get to the pipes as the bath side isnt on yet ive looked in the instruction manual that i got with the shower but its that crap it doesnt even tell u how to work the shower never mind install it

What I would do is:

call the manufacturere all showers are different and have different sides to plumb in the cold. I am going to sound really stupid here and deserve a bit of abuse. I looked at one manual it said connect cold to the right. I did. but looking from the front, I was meant to look at it from the back.....DOH!

Or if possible just swap the pipe work over as I said if this cures it happy days!

Some mixer showers enable you to just turn the cartridge round, I don't you can do that on these showers though

thanks im going to to try switching the pipes first as thats my easist option if that doesnt work it looks like ill be single again lol.....

This is your first mistake, yes it does sound like the pipes are the wrong way, sadly though Swirl are unreliable Screwfix own brand rubbish.

I bought one of their kitchen mixertaps for a customer and the next day I got the call....

The tap handle comes off in your hand and releases a jet of water from the edwardian style headgear all over the kitchen.
