REDSAW

came accross this on the gas safe site, for those of you who have not yet seen the quote:?

'If you were formerly registered with CORGI and your qualifications are more than five years old, you are not currently able to register with Gas Safe Register. You will need to retrain in the areas of gas work you intend to carry out.'

So basically if your qualifications are out of date you can't register. What's the problem with that?

Technically it's been like that for a while, if you let a qualification lapse you needed to show evidence of training before you could retake it as it no longer counted as a renewal.
