Gas Engineer
Morning guys & girls

Had a call yesterday from a mate, saying he is having a new kitchen & wanted his gas boiler moved from the kitchen to his loft.
Am I right in thinking that I can move it? but only if it's A rated?
I have no idea what boiler he has or if I can move it somewhere else I.E garage or outer house.
Many thanks people....

If he is haveing a new kitchen now is the time to invest in a new boiler, once you start moveing old boilers you just open up a can of worms, Strange how people allways find money for the new kitchen but never think about the boiler, untill it go's wrong and they have to remove half the units to replace it.

move to loft equals major work therefore under building regs therefore comply with regs
