I've had these fittings lying around for years they were sent to me by mistake although the order was corrected the supplier did not want them returning so I'd just like to know what they are .

They are Brass one end takes a 15mm copper tube and is reduced to a threaded male end .

they are 3/8 to 15mm male iron straits sometimes used on gashobs

no problem,i keep these fittings in stock myself, they are the sort of thing you dont use for ages but find when you are stuck for one you cant find any

its called a male iron to copper, sizes differ, its probably 1/2inch parrellel thread to 15mm copper tube

would of helped with a tape measure on the pics.
they are male irons to copper
1/2 inch to 22mm
3/8 to 15mm
who knows without anything to relate to !

only just seen the pics, they are defo male iron to coppers, not 1/2inch though, prob 3/8 or even 1/4, but that would be rare. Used on gas work normally, sometimes comprssed air systems in factories or even heating systems(although thats normally 1/2inch)
Your unlikley to use them

i would say they are 1/4" x 15mm, have used hundreds of them, they go in the bottom of a chrome gas fire pedestal.

am i being dumb and missing something in the photo other than the fact that the threaded screw part is about 2/3 the size of the female side ?
if i am please call me dumb and point it out to me !!

without any dimensions who can say there not 1" male irons to 35mm copper ?

am i thick or just missing something - and yes i got both in my van !!

if they were 1" x 35mm do you think the supplier would let the customer keep them, a 1/4" x 15mm is about £1.35, so he has about £10's worth, the OP should post another pic with a coin beside one of them till we get a better idea

Did you miss the bit in my first post the copper end is 15mm .

the hole in the threaded end is 8mm and it measures 13mm accross.

to be honest the threaded end looks like 3/8,it could be1/4 best thing you can do norbet if you have a merchants near you pop down with a fitting and ask for a 3/8 female iron and see if it screws in,if not ask for a 1/4 and see if it fits that it will either be a 3/8X15mm male iron or 1/4x15mm male iron

there definately 3/8ths chocolate fire guards unless you have a use for them.

and i said i was being dumb - couldnt see any numbers - senior moment. or wine moment.

They are chocholate fire gaurds but 1/4 ones - I bet a full whole pound on it😀

The question is Norbert , what are your plans for them? if they were mine Id throw them at the women who lets her dog $$$t outside my house every day.
