Hi everyone im new here, I am basically City & guilds qualified (just have 3 theory exams to finish) i invested heavily (£5,000) with a company called OLCI to gain my certificate i cant achieve my NVQ as you all know untill im working on-site, Im 21 years old live in Birmingham and am struggling to find a company to take me on as they all want experienced plumbers & corgi registered, could any of you take on a trainee plumber (based in midlands, i live halesowen am willing to travel upto 15 miles, have got car and liscence) im willing to work for VERY low wage as i desperately experience to get more competent & for my C.V or if not has anyone got any tips to get into a company, I love plumbing work just need into a company to gain confidence/skills. Thanks alot guys/girls.😎

start doing small jobs for friends and family. doubt you will get a job with a company at the moment, work is drying up i believe. bloody recessions. but good luck and keep trying.

Why did you pay £5000? Do you not have a technical college nearby where you could have done the C+G 6129 full tech cert either free or for a lot cheaper on nightclass?
Having said that, Im guessing OLCI are one of these scumbag "accelerated" course merchants where it takes 5 minutes?

Hi I am in the same situation as you did my course with OLCI have you progressed from your last message
