Hi,
I have a challenge, I need to increase the flow rate to 3 WC cisterns all running in series off the same pipework, gravity fed but only 2m head. These are in my local pub's Ladies Loo's which, when they get busy, just can't cope , ie don't fill as quickly as people are using them...result half flush and toilet paper compacting and consequent blockages.

Existing cisterns run in 22mm then down to 15 just before the cistern. All inline valves are full flow ballofix so no restriction on flow.

Any thoughts on how to speed up the re-fill.

Cheers
Malc

sounds like the only thing you can do is increase the height of the cold water tank

I wouldn;t recommend going down the route of a single impeller pump due to siting reasons mainly

Hi. Just in case you have not checked. Mack sure low pressure orifice are present in the ball valves.

If the mains pressure is ok do away with the intermediate storage
tank and hook it all up to the mains.

Then you could change the siphons to eco low flush to save water
and speed up refill times or stick a clean 1/2 brick in each cistern.

A busy pub sounds like fun where is it ?

Yes, I bet they have white valve seats not red. As stated bypass the tank at put on mains best by far.

change from tank to mains , also make sure you use heavy duty ballofix valves , cheap ones are are too restrictive
