Im a gas safe registered engineer and have been asked to quote for a new boiler.

Need to remove a floor standing Vokera Linea max

New boiler needs to fit under kitchen worktop and the flue needs to terminate through the wall, ie - out the side of the new boiler, not the back.

Any advice warmly received

Thanks

Heat only? Ideal logic heat only direct rear flue.

If you're fitting a combi it will have to be another vokera or a glowworm flexicom. Both ****e

My issue is that the flue goes out the side of the existing vokera and straight out of the wall. there is no option to flu vertically or straight out the back. And im reluctant to fit another Vokera as theyre shi£e. If theres any alternative I would look into it...

Worcester do a floor standing cdi. Not sure about flueing options.

Only others I can think of are potterton Promax and ideal Mexico. Both rubbish.

Can't you explain to customer that it would be better to move it?

Nothing wrong with an Icos.... got plenty of work out them over the last 3 years

The 440cdi (or the 550) will slot into the same footprint and can be flued anyway you like.
You'll need to swap some pipes around a bit but it is probably the easiest option and the best of the available options if you want to stick with a floorstander.

That'd explain it then 😀

Hope you work in a team cos the highflow is a heavy old beast lol
