hi guys
this is my first post on here and was hoping someone may be able to give me some advice.
i am a tennant and recently our gas operated back boiler was condemned after is failed its yearly landlords inspection. this was duly replaced with a combi style boiler in the airing cupboard and all appears to be working fine
the only question i have is i cannot seem to get it to giver me on demand hot water. the old boiler used a hot water tank in the airing cupboard and it appears the combi has been installed to heat the water in the tank for the hot water supply. this does not make sense to me as this seems to make an efficient and economical boiler inefficient and uneconomical.
do i have to store hot water to have it available in this system or are there any settings i can adjust to get the on demand hot water. there is a 3 way valve fitted that opeates to w when hot water selected on control box
any advice would be greatly appreciated
thanks
