Hi all first post so thanks for taking the time to read! As per title I am having a new ideal boiler fitted in my loft soon and have had two different views as to where the condensate pipe should run. One is saying has to run in to the soil stack (which is the other end of the loft so long run) and the second is saying can be run straight out of the gable wall in to the gutter rain water?!

Any thougts on this would be appreciated

thanks Lee

If it's run into the guttering you must have a neutraliser fitted which also must be serviced annually.

Condy pump first option.

Move the boiler closer to the internal soil & vent... Or upsize pipework and ensure it falls all the way! Condense into guttering may freeze & as high level difficult to defrost in future
