Hi
Guys, i am new in plumbing and i am learning it quickly.
But i get stuck sometimes and do require some expert assistance, and unfortunately i am learning on my own and don't have anyone senior whom i can ask.

Do you know which is the best plumbing Book available in the market so that i can read and enhance my knowledge on it

Many Thanks

I've read loads but have found this site to be the best help as kooks tailor the knowledge provided to your exact situation. However you only learn so much by reading, most things are best learnt in practice. Ideally under supervision o a decent mentor.

Not as easy as reading books. Pay for college like the rest of us!!

Hi
I understand that you all went to college and i respect that.. I would also go to college but if i have always read books and to enhance my knowledge. But anyways thanks for your advice, will do some research online and will find it out

Are you looking for general knowledge on plumbing Ie heating systems etc ?

Try

PLUMBING
Heating and Gas installations By R.D TRELOAR

And John Reginald do a few plumbing books 1 on combination boilers 1 on plumbing.
And water regs book come in handy.

Look them up on google.

Thanks sonray, would refer both these books 🙂 and happy thanksgiving day to you

Have a good look round ie i think w h smiths do them and also check ebay useally a few floating about and probably cheaper.

All the best.

join your local library and loan some books out, if you find one you like then go and buy it.

welcome to the forum.

Why not join a plumbing forum..😉 books are great for knowledge of what does what and why,but you carnt beat hands on.

Agree with Sonray on Treloar books. You could also try JTL Plumbing books sold through Amazon and the likes and are/were used by colleges. Not as detailed as Treloar but simple for starters! Levels 2 & 3

i wouldn't want to learn by books alone though as there is reading and understanding, practice in a safe environment and then there is the real world!

Jtl books will help enormously at first as all the info is far easier to understand. When you have grasped the basics more technical books like treloar seem less daunting.
