Hi all - you have heard of a golfing widow - well I am a heating engineers widow! - well certainly this time of year anyway! lol

I am Julie and my husband is Graham, owned our own business for 5 years now, he does all the manual work, I do all the paperwork.

We live in Tunbridge Wells and mainly work in that area. Find it very interesting reading all the posts, different views etc. Will be interesting to see how this Capita pans out - I guess most engineers will be Capita and CORGI registered?

We have recently been getting a few customers wanted to use Warm Front vouchers - through Eaga - anybody got involved with this - the customer gers £300 voucher to use.

Would be grateful for any advice.

Julie

hi julie
hope business is doing well.

i think i will just go with capita. No need to have corgi as well from what i've read and heard. Either way i do think its a bloody mess. corgi was doing fine, why change it. Poor customers won't have a clue.

I tried to get on with eaga, they sent me all the application stuff. Jesus christ!!! The criteria is incredible, i am a sole trader so could not give it the committment. I think thats why the bigger companies are milking it!
But i'm not bitter.
