Hi all
this is my first posting on the forum , so hello and merry xmas to one and all, at present i'm working on a relatives house, after the builder has let her down and left the extension unfinished , he has done most of the plumbing ,and put a new combi boiler in and the radiators upstairs , this has left me with 3 rads to put in downstairs , he has put in the first fix for these 3 and capped pipes, obviously I will need to drain system first , is there any hints or tips you experienced people can give when I come to refil the heating system does the boiler vent air itself
thanks the only drain cock I can find is on the boiler.

hi godfrey, enjoy the forum, post your questions and hopefully recieve the answers you need?!

Welcome to the mad house,godfrey
As regards your project
Drain boiler from drain point, then get your aqua vac,can get cheap one at wicks and suck water out of pipework and away you go
Persume new he boiler so you have to be carefull about venting when refilling system,as some require main heat exchanger manualy venting or could be damaged, read manufactorers instruction, look on their web site or post make model here
good luck
